The Ravens History: 1977-78by John Anthony After some time went by Jeff, Barry and I still wanted to play. For me with college completed it was a great time to play again. Richie didn't want to be standing up for long periods and thought it best to pass. We found a really good guitar player and singer in Neil Ruscoe from New Milford. We played at the Volcano Room--renamed Lane 53--in Brookfield, Trackside in New Milford, private parties and P.J.s once in a while. In April of 1978 Jeff and I had a falling out, in retrospect, over something really small. The way it was between us, there was no way we could continue to play together and the band split up. I thought this was it, that we'd finally hit a point where we would never play together again. Go To: 1973-75 1985-86
